New Hornady Manual

Anyone buy one yet? I was on Midways sight today looking at them and noticed they had the 8th edition for $9.99. I still use the 7th and the internet and did not know if the extra $20 for the new one is worth it. Here is the link for the 9.99 one if anyone is interested. I might just order both. You can never have to many manuals right?

I've had my 8th edition for several years now. Its a 2010 copywrite and I paid like 30 bucks. Sounds like a new printing or all new edition is coming soon.

I have the eighth and as long as you dont load for something real unusual,you should be ok.

9th edition is new print with updated cartridges and powders. I may just pick me up the 8th edition @ that price since I do not have a manual. I either called the company for load data or found it online. I have read the ABC of Reloading though

Truthfully you should have several manuals to check loading suggestions from one to the other.

yep, the 9th edition is already out and the sites are selling them! i'll wait a bit and get it when on special.

I received my pre-ordered First Edition Berger Bullets reloading manual yesterday. Ended up with an autographed copy by the major contributors plus signed by Walt Berger himself.
The wait was well worth it. Its a hardbound book of over 800 pages with a wealth of information plus reloading info on many calibers not found in other reloading manuals. I highly recommend this book.
