I really like this style of press, easy packing for travel and nice and compact.
Who has made these presses over the years since Hood stopped making them?
Just wondering as I have an original Hood and one that was made after Hood stopped making them for 2 x screw in dies and the click adjuster.

I believe Scotty Crawford was making them after Charlie.

I just received my single ram hood press and finished resizing 101 pcs of 6.5 PRC brass. Every single one of them measured exactly 2.5 thou bump (what actually wanted). I measured all 101 with my Mutitoyo and a Derraco bump gauge! What can I say...best press out there. I should mention also that the Cortina die deserves some credit too!

Now I have to buy a couple of more for my other calibers so I dont have to change dies!

I picked up one of these and I really like the slight tilt forward for better leverage when the arm is down a the ram reaches the top.

This adjustable handle allows you to set it up for what works best for you, and return it to the straight position if needed (if you’re transporting it in a tool box drawer).
