SELLING New Hood Presses!

I use a Wilson seater and arbor press now for 223 and 308 FTR guns. Can someone help me under stand the resizing side of this press? I’ve been using the quick changing lock n load on my summit press to switch from 223 to 308. Can the Hood Press do that? Any help would appreciated thanks Steven

As I have learned, there is no comparison. I have an older hood, saying that, arkcomatts is probably has even much better tolerances than mine. Sizing on one of these, your headspace on your FL die will be very accurate cartridge to cartridge. On my hood each cartridge is within .0005 of each other. Can’t imagine what Matt’s would be. As nice as a quick change option is, especially if your competing, is go with one of his for sure.

I did a test comparing shoulder bump consistency between a few presses I had at the time. The Hood was the best. Even beating out my coax. The design is just more rigid, I kind of wish the notch between the sizing and seating side wasnt there, making it even more rigid. Im glad to see these back on the market, I always regretted selling my Hoods.
