New here and wanted to say HOWDY!!!!

I'm brand new here but not new to shooting. Just wanted to say hi and I am a big fan of this site!!! I am finishing up on some rifle builds, so will probably wanting to get advice at some point by you nice folks out there. Thanks again for allowing me to join your group!!!

Come on in and make yourself at home. The coffee is both hot and fresh, unlike other places you may have been.
Some things don't change though, new guys have to hump the base plate! Semper Fidelis, brother.

Wow, all of that and no inquiry on how his head was spaced? What are you as a group coming to?

Welcome too the group!

Welcome! Be sure to post pictures of the builds. Everyone likes pictures!

As an old Army guy, I have to ask, why the Marines? When I was drafted they went down the line and pointed to each guy and said, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force in no particular order. The guys on each side of me went Marines and I went Army. Ah, that’s all water under the bridge now and I came back home alive. When I got out I had no intentions of firing a rifle again but here I am. Welcome Home and Welcome here.

WOW!!!!! What a nice welcome!!! Thanks everyone...……. Thanks Rebel!!!! Your right!!! So much to learn!!!!!!!! I would like to learn to hand-load... Pirate Ammo,, I do like a Jewell trigger, but looking just a little bit different route---- maybe. I have a hard time with most traditional triggers in a chassis. Ordered a Cadex NEW!!! TAN!!! Dual Strike chassis system new-wrapped + 10 round mag from their bargain bin for a song, already in the U.S., no border customs,,,,,,,, Will be here today.. So stoked!! They fit me sooooo good!! So the trigger has to be more of an AR style than a curved Timney-Remington style. I don't like when I pull straight back, the curved triggers guide my finger upwards... I don't like the sides of my finger touching the trigger or feeling the sensation of the trigger wrapping around my finger...…. Must be the PTSD...……… I just like having the pad of my first digit square in the middle of the trigger and a applying a straight-back, light pressure. I love the Cadex trigger, but too expensive. Actually, the Jewell would be great in that respects, but I have heard concerns with reliability if not kept meticulously clean..... I may go for the Calvin Elite as I have one on my Mk 13 Mod 7 clone and that feels pretty nice.. Toys Toys Toys...…… What difficult life decisions!!!! Thanks everyone. You seem like a fun bunch!!!!
