New guy here with a ???

I just ordered a 6BR barrel from Pac-Nor an want some opinions about which twist. I asked for a 10T with the Norma chamber configuration which has a lead of .060". I plan on shooting lighter bullets in the 55-70gr range. It's been my understanding that more twist = more carnage on small furry critters, to a point that is. I've been reconsidering my order and think that I may ask for a 11T barrel instead.

Any thoughts or opinions welcome!

Steve

***Also, anyone have any experience with this particular chamber from Pac-Nor?

Steve,
The correct freebore for the 107 SMK is .117". I would not know for the 55-70g range. I would suggest the 14 twist for that range though. I shoot my 6 PPC with 68g bullets and it has a 14 twist, and the 6 BR gets more velocity. My 6br 8 twist is a PacNor and I asked for the 107 SMK to be .050" above the shoulder/neck junction when touching the lands and it is perfect. Rifle shoots very well and is a prechambered Savage barrel.
