New Golden Bear 22BR Project

These day when I read this forum and heard people talking about some ones work shop or tactical bolt knobs and this one is too big and this knob is too small. I think one of my kids has changed my favorites and spoofed me by putting the pink pistols under the 6mmbr heading. Ramblerman nice shop , nice gun I think maybe you are the kind of guy that wants the group to be measured in the 1s or 0s rather than whine about the shop being all neat

You are 100% correct ebb! That's the goal:cool:. Thanks for stopping by!

Ran out of clear and since I'm quarantined for surgery, this is where she will sit for a bit til I can wet/block sand it and put on a final coat of clear to polish. Very happy with the color though, if not my workmanship, hahaha. Just FYI for anyone who wants to tackle dying and clearing a wood stock...the price folks like @Bc'z charge is a BARGAIN!!!

Looking good Kevin!!
Praying your surgery/ recovery goes well.
Agian my apologies for not responding sooner, I felt like I was going 15 directions at that time.
I'm sure we'll have another opportunity to work on a project together.
Now I have to go make a fiberglass stock resemble wood, and make a wooden stock come to life with dye.

Thanks Brett! Healing up as we speak...will be in a sling (not the good kind!) for 4-6 weeks and start therapy in the next few days. Happy for now I got feeling back in my shooting hand/digits. Shoot some for me!

Stick with your rehab and physical therapy.
Just because you feel 100% dosen't mean you are.
I learned the hard way, and pay for it every day.

Thanks gents, looking forward to the wing getting all healed up too...but full disclosure...the wife caught me out in the shop this morning snooping around...hahaha... so back in the house I came to my chair:rolleyes: hahaha

Please be careful. It is easy to think your Doc is giving you the same regiment as the weak and end up doing too much too early. You can fudge around the edges a tich, but you can make things worse in a heartbeat. Also, don't give up early, expect to have to do therapy on your own for years. Us old farts heal slowly but it comes eventually.

We're all glad you came through the surgery well and hope for your rapid and complete recovery.

Thanks for the advice gents...and yes, I plan on keeping with the therapy...I spent the last year getting back into shape...from 225 back down to 187 with cardio and strength training just about every day...so I don't wanna go backwards either. And thanks for the good wishes. You guys are awesome!
