New front rest prototype with pics

I may be interested in a rest like this. I just put up my first post about ideas on a gun. See "help me build all around". I am going to be looking into getting a rest I can use from a bench to work up loads, sight in, and shoot from the ground. Will probably be using a tactical style stock on the gun so I would need a front bag to suit. Any more pics available? pm or e-mail to me.
Thanks!

Thanks for all the possitive imput about the rest, unfortunatly my buddy's shop that I was using was lost in a bad fire so I don't have anyplace to use the machines to make these.

Hopefully in the future I'll be able to build my own shop without a risk of flooding and I'll retire to do gun builds and such.

JD,too bad ya don`t live closer to me,,we could get together and build all kinds of rests as I build them also,,mostly for pistols...

If my property were higher I would have already built a shop, the trouble is that I live close to the Gulf Coast and get flooded now and then during hurricane season. I'm not about to dump a pile of money into a shop full of tools that may get ruined, and the current state that our country is in makes it realy shakey to more

So I role my dice every year and dream about building things for the shooting community rather than the areo space industry.

Thats a nice rest,I ony made a couple tops and they both were pretty similar to yours

JD,,here`s a pic of the one i just finished for myself today..It has rear windage so i don`t have to stretch way out while shooting my pistols, and a extended top for my center grip pistols...Aluminum stocked pistol is a Kelbly Cub in 6mmBR,,second is a Rem XP100,cal 7WSM...

I tested the F-Class version for James and it works great. Extremely stable; I still use it,but had James shorten the legs a touch to preserve the leather seats in my car). Yes my shadetree top works just fine with it. I'll try to post some pictures later.
