New FORUM Server is Running... WooHoo

Guys --

JayChris spent a lot of time configuring the new Forum server for stability and performance and so far it appears to be running fine.

We appreciate your patience during the time-out earlier today.

If you notice any unusual activity, errors or faults, please let us know by posting in this thread.

NOTE: if some of the buttons or small icons are not displaying on your screen, try clicking the "refresh" button for your browser. This is typically in the top tool bar, and looks like a curved arrow in a small box.

All the credit goes to JayChris. He worked really hard on this transition, testing many server configs to get us up to speed. He also sacrificed most of a weekend to debugging issues that arose after our first attempt at a server move revealed some unexpected problems.

I also want to thank Forum members who have donated to the site. Their contributions help us pay for the costs of dedicated servers.

havent seen any issues since the change over. during the changeover it was weird, but since then, moving along just fine.

I seem to have a quirk. When I look at the main page for a section it is normal screen width. When I click to open a thread it seems to be about 3 screens wide.
This is using 2 different machine with Internet Explorer. If I use Firefox the screens are all normal.
