New FMG "Fightin' Mans Gun"...Pics

Joe C

Student of the 1911.
Some time ago I got together with the Editor of American COP magazine, Suzi Huntington, and asked her if I could do a special giveaway to a LEO in America. She said yes she would love to do something like that. Those of you that know about my past projects know that there is nothing more enjoyable to me than working with other fine craftsmen. This project was no exception and my thanks and gratitude goes out to all of you who were kind enough to be involved.

As you will see in the pics, there were a lot of great people involved in this project. Caspian Arms donated the frame and slide, Brownells donated the small parts and the list goes on and on through the pictures. If you are a LEO in the US, this would be a great time to subscribe to American COP magazine as they will be giving this entire package away to one officer in the coming months by drawing!

So, I hope you enjoy the pics of the new model we call the FMG which stands for "Fightin' Mans Gun". It comes standard with browning high power cuts, bottom beveled slide, stippled top of slide, aggressive cocking serrations and much more. And of course there are a few additions to this particular gun like the ball cuts, Knurling, custom grips, polished finish, etc. And of course as with all my .45's this one will shoot sub 1.5" for 10 shots at 50 yards, cause I like them accurate, not to mention over 400 round through it without a single malfunction.

And thanks for looking! Good luck to all of you who will be in the drawing and if you have LE friends, tell them to check it out!!!

Absolutely beautiful! What finish is on the "mirror polished" parts? It almost looks like a black chrome?

Placek59, the parts are polished and hot blued. My polishing is something I'm kinda "known" for...
