New CZ 457 trigger won't adjust

Initially the trigger pull was 3.5 LBS and trigger adjust made no change In or out. Changed to the YODAVE trigger spring and came down to 1.25 LBS but it also won't adjust. Anyone run into this before? Seems like something is missing that would compress the spring.

When the AT-One came in, the stock trigger was at 3 lbs, and
really could not get it lower. Install a Timney and don't look
back. They are 10 ounces to 2 lbs adjustable. It came in set
for 1 lb and left it there for the grandson to get used to. Even
at one lb. it's nice and clean.....One thing of note....I like the much
flatter trigger of the Timney. The CZ is too circular for my liking.

"...that would compress the spring".
If you compress the spring then you are adding tension.
You want to adjust the wee tension screw outwards to lessen the spring tension.
RFC forum has a good description on the whole system, with drawings/explanations.
Have you wound the adjuster inwards on your YODAVE spring?
That would make it a heavier trigger pull.
Don't forget to set up the backlash, etc as per the RFC thread.
