New coyote rig, 22x47L ,22-250,22-250ai or 22creed which one??

Whats more accurate and easy to tune
22x47L , 22-250, 22-250ai, 22creed building a new coyote rig. Got a 20x47L shooting 55gr bergers

I have a thread started on 22xc. That was super easy for me to reform 6xc to 22xc. Loads are easy.

I also bought reamers for 22-250, 22-250a, and 22 CM.

I think they are all going to be good.

Of course you can get 22-250 native brass. My guess is that there will be 22 CM native brass eventually.

Alpha makes 22creed brass

22-250 IA with an 8 twist barrel.
Why would the OP want a 8 twist with 55gr bullets?

I have two Savages with 12 twist barrels. One a 26” factory heavy barrel and the other has a 24” Shilen varmint contour. Both shoot 55gr Sierra Gamekings in tiny groups.

I'm the odd man out.
I typically hunt coyotes with my 250 Savage or my 257 Roberts.
90gr BlitzKings drop em there.
100gr Ballistic Tips make a mess of the pelts.

I pay closer attention to which ammo i grab heading out the door now...

std7mag - I regularly hunt yotes with a 25-06 and occasionally with a 7mm-08 . I don't hunt for pelts .
I use my standard whitetail load.

Works extremely well but only 1 good bullet the 55gr berger. And very hard to come by.

I'm reading and watching with interest. I've been given a 22 caliber barrel blank which I'm going to use for a winter project. I'm looking at all the cartridges mentioned in this thread. I have also been searching, trying to find dimensions/drawings for the various chambers but not really finding much. I specifically want to look at the throats on these chamberings...free bore, etc. I think the 22XC, the 22 Creedmoor and the 22-6.5X47 are are tailored for the heavier bullets. My barrel blank is a 1:9 so I think the heaviest I can expect it to shoot is maybe 75 grains. Therefore I am leaning heavily towards 22-250 or 22-250 AI.

I just finished up a 20 tactical with 35’s bergers ans 39 blitzkings. Been using this caliber for a few years and love it. For a 22 cal with lighter bullets I’d probably just do a 223, 22-250. Fast twist I’d go 22 creed, 22gt or 22br/bra

For a varmint rifle……22 250. …easy brass to reload. Fast…get a 10 or 8 twist..doubles for deer and antelope with the right bullet..Nosler part, Barnes, Swift. Hummer on a 55 to 69 grain for varmints. Make life simple…no firforming.
