New complete build for a good friend. From start to finish.

May experiment with that suggestion..
Thanks..
I've been following your progress and really like what you got going on, looking forward to seeing what you come up with as a end result.
Here's a few shots of passion purple over black for reference to appearance and suggestions from others, I sprayed a couple light coats of Voodoo Violet candy to add a layer of depth and richness. 20230626_174103.jpg20230626_174144.jpg20230626_173531.jpg20230626_173821.jpg

Absolutely beautiful work. If I can get to that level of excellence in 10 years I’d be thrilled.
I’m going to take my time finishing the stock.
Not skimping on materials just do not have the skill set you have achieved.
Thank you very much…

Looking great Chris!
Yesterday you mentioned your buddy said to tint the clear, this is a solid suggestion that I do all the time. "Candy"
I use a intercoat clear from UreChem paints, its basically a gin clear base coat at half the price of House of Kolor.
It will add a level of depth and richness to your project while working as a camouflage toning down and helping to hide any glue lines.
For SnG's scuff a test panel that is already cleared, mask half of it off, spray your tinted clear "candy" 3-4 coats on 1 half after it's flashed unmask and clear whole panel, this will give you a side by side comparison.
I do strongly suggest the intercoat clear for this. Clear likes to build on edges during post flow, if you use a tinted top coat clear you'll have fat dark edges, and if you get a run it will move and distort your color creating a mess and redo.
I'm ordering more intercoat from Urechem today and may pick up a couple more of thier candy concentrates, I'll text you a link to the goodies.
