I receive my Fox Pro banshee yesterday from APC so I filled it with batteries, gave it a fast once over to get the feel for the remote & went night calling.
The keypad does not light up like my TX1000 shockwave remote, so it took a few min or so to get used to "feeling" the bumps locations on the remote.
I have been running a Shockwave for the last few years and wanted this for its use on the wide open plains & fingers in the hills to carry sound a bit better. I know that really don't matter as coyotes can hear better than any human, but what the heck I said to my self.
After 3 sets I had one come in trying to circle me, saw it about 900 yards out in the thermal coming up out of a finger from the bottom lands I was a mile above.
I was ready for it as it popped up from a low spot in the field and dropped it at 56 yards. 55g vmax, MMRAR15, suppressed.
She was large & mangy so no loss and the rancher woman is happy.
I see I have a smiling mug, not to often you get that in my photos...hahah
