New bullets tested REPORT....

After what seemed forever I got down to pa with the tac 20 I built on a Sako Varmint.. Accuracy has been best with the Sierra 39 grain BT green tip bullet..It is deadly out to 300 plus yds..For a tiny bullet it really hits hard !! I'm taking the rig to washington county next week for more testing...Once I figure out the drop values out to 500 yds I'll try some longer shots with it... mike in ct

That bullet is getting quite a reputation for accuracy in the .20 cals... I've got a mess of 40 gr Hornady A-Max bullets that are doing fine for me - but everything I read leads me to believe the 39 gr Sierra is a real winner. No surprise that Sierra knows how to build an accurate bullet.

Am thoroughly enjoying loading and shooting my .204 Ruger - the .20's are neat little cartridges!

You may remember I started using the V-max & nosler ballistic tips over a year ago...The sierra really outperforms both of those brands in similar weights for accuracy in my gun...& it really hits hard...it looks like the poor GH got hit by a baseball..Well nearly that ugly...I'll be trying another batch of the Sierra bullets impact plated with So2...Tungston DiSulfide powder...I cant wait to shoot that gun on the 500 yd range down in Pa...mike in ct
