I have a R 700 SA that i want to build. I have a problem I can not decide on a caliber. I dont really care about cost of bullets as plan on reloading. I would like to hunt varmits and target shoot hopefully working my way up to long distances. I thought about the 22-250 maybe 204. I do not need a 7mm-08 or 308.

No real reason to look further than the 6br or even the 22br....

Unless you have an extra bolt, it depends on what size the boltface is.
