new brass - case head 22-250 uh, mangled?

Purchased 1st time ever Nosler 22-250 unprimed brass "ready to load out of the box"
2 boxes of 50.
Priming of 50 went well.
Loaded w Varget.
Seating using Wilson die w/ arbor press -- shows cases are rocking on the steel arbor plate. ?

Inspection shows the case heads are bent in 2 opposing areas.
not really flat - any of em.
I'm going to call + then send back the unloaded brass.

I sanded down the high spots on a few case heads, hit em w steel wool. Decided that was nuts. So keeping those - 20 loaded.

Will the pressure of shooting flatten out these 20 bent case heads? I'm thinking so.

Before you send em back and end up with an 80/20mix lot fire those loaded ones and see. All brass no matter the brand needs a little straightening bump to get right anyway

Are the bends 180 degrees apart? When priming new Win 22-250 brass with very tight primer pockets, the seating operation actually bent the rim of the case head in 2 places, 180 degrees apart. I was using an RCBS automatic priming tool. And I was really leaning into the priming arm to seat the primers.

Of course they straighten out the first firing.

All were bent new out of the box in opposing areas on the case head; all the same. with a small gash in the
extractor rim.

These cases were primed by hand w a Sinclair tool. They actually "rock" on the arbor steel base. Never saw that + I've loaded thousands of 22-250. Since they were effectively longer cases, that affected bullet seating depth-seemed odd.

Shooting 20 loaded + sending back for exchange the others. Not knocking Nosler, stuff happens.
Just curious if I should disassemble the others loaded, which I won't. As this brass is more $, and premium "ready to load", I'm expecting better.

Nosler rep resolved immediately-advised that there was no other notices re this lot of brass.

Thoughts? Provoking someone to think around here is not easy; but, let us suppose the case head does flatten out, now what? Times is up! If you shot heavy loads the case head would increase in diameter and shorten between the cup above the web and the case head, if that happens when the case is locked to the chamber the case has no choice but to stretch between the case head and case body.

So? The case rocks out of the box and you do not know if it is a little rock or a lot of rock, as in thousandths.

I know this is a small kinda silly question, but I've never seen new brass like this. I will be shooting em in june...
even when an AR rips a case out of the chamber, it's not as bent. and that I am familiar with.
thinking - eh, it's overrated.

I have 30/06 cases with case heads that are different, they have dates stamped on the case heads that lead some to believe they were made in 1940, they were made 20 years +/- a few later. I thought the pattern on the case head would be a good way to off set the length of the chamber. I was told the cases were made for some clandestine event.

I pulled down the brass & sent back to Nosler & they replaced all of it.
Replacement 22-250 brass was fine. The first batch was a mess, though.
