I got in my new bipod today (Thanks jkl!)
Henry Rempel ski pod.. WOW! I drilled and tapped new holes to mount the AR15 adapter today, got it installed and laid behind it for a bit... WHAT A FREAKING DIFFERENCE!!! Until now all ive ever used was cheap sling stud bipods, never even laid behind some kind of work of art like this!!. Ive shot many of criters and some really good groups from those cheap bipods, but this, this thing is a tank!! I cant wait to get the rails installed on my custom rifles to use it on them!
The only thing i could think of laying behind the rifle with this ski pod on was "holy cow my groups are going to shrink, and, wow this worm gear elevation adjustment is phenominal!!!"
I couldnt imagine paying $550 for a bipod before this, but now, i know why... Glad a snagged it used, but knowing what i know now id gladly pay that much without a second thought! Like going from a nikon to a schmidt and bender!!
