New Berger data for 25 Creedmoor

On request, Berger sent reloading data for their two bullets (115 and 135) for 25CM. The two tabulations are in a somewhat-weird-to-me format; if you'll PM me with your E-mail address, I'll send them to you.. Interestingly, the SAME powder, RL26 (!) achieved the highest velocity for both bullet weights, and both lists include six VV powders.

Indeed they do, and the data sheet indicates it applies to both; I just didn't think about that!

That's likely quickload output, they sent me the same for another cartridge a while back and said it was conservative. Same format as above.

RL26 will get you the best performance. Accuracy possibly as well.

RL26 real tough to find around here.
Having good luck with RL 19 & H4350.

Are the 4350 burn rate types the best for the 135 grain and 134 ELD’s?

I'm surprised that it only takes 39 grs. of RL16 powder to get 2841 fps.. That's 2 1/2 grs less than 144 gr. in a 6.5 to get to the same speed. That's good. Wouldn't take much to get to 2900 fps.

I used a Bartlein 8tw finished at 22in with my 25 SAUM but I'm sending them at almost 3200 and my base elevation is 2000ft and those 134 ELD-M's are shooting extremely well in my gun.

I was looking at Lilja barrels specs and looks like either a 7 or 8 twist option for the .257’s.
