Last week I ordered and received my first powder dispenser, a Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper and a little while ago I ordered the FA Platinum Case Prep Station with case trimmer along with some graphite case neck lube with application media. I have a Dillon 550B and load 45ACP in progressive mode with it but use it as a modified single stage for little neck rifle rounds. And I weigh each powder charge individually with a beam or GemPro 250 digital scale. This method has always given me sub MOA groups but it's slow and I don't shoot competitively so a one inch group at 200 yards is good enough. Recently I have found myself wanting to load a lot of the components that I've been acquiring/sitting on over the years and just loading 50 or a hundred at a time won't get me where I want to be. So, these new toys should speed things up considerably. Today I lightly chamfered the necks on 300 new .308 Lapua cases, by hand, and that sent me on my quest for a prep station. All the regular outlets were 188$ to 208$ but Amazon has them for $166 and free shipping. DEAL!
Tomorrow I'll go ahead and load the 308 and when the prep station gets here I'll be prepping/loading a lot of .223 in 69gr BTHP.
So many empty cases, so little time.....
