I have been given the honor of testing a barrel that was put together by one of our members,

other wise known as Chris!
Chris put together a 10/22 barrel with a reamer blend of his design.. the barrel finished out at 24.5 inches. 16 twist with about 6K of choke.. I am not sure where the barrel's ring point is, i didn't test it before putting it on the action.
It took about 2 boxes of ammo to get it relatively dialed in on a 50 degree afternoon with mild winds at Kettlefoot. i was using SK Standard Plus at the time. and when i packed everything up, i was hitting dots on a the ABRA target consistently.
Last night, went to a match.. and here are my results:
This first card was shot with SK SP

Winds were gusting to approx 12 mph with rain and the threat of snow!
The next two targets were shot with Center-X..

on these targets, in order to get the X, you must wipe it out.. next line up doesn't count for the X. Conditions were a lil tricky with the mirage that was jiggling around with the swirling winds and updrafts that were present.
As it stands right now, i feel that Chris has done a wonderful job with putting a fantastic barrel together! So you 10/22 owners that would be looking for a new barrel.. do not hesitate to contact him.
