New Barrel Company?

Just finished putting together a 6.5 Creedmoor using one of BarrelBrothers sporter barrels on a Remington 700 action in a Hogue rubber (UGH) stock.
shot four for sighting and to make sure everything held together, cleaned the barrel, shot a fouler and then did these two three shot groups.
Should have put a caliper on it but those are one inch dots. This is my second Wilson Arms barrel and they are hard to beat for hunting rifle barrels.
You just feel better knowing it's something you threaded and chambered and there is no concern for that part of the equation. The action was squared, but there was nothing that could be done with the stock...........that rubber just fights those bags, probably OK as a hunting stock.
There's my .025 cents worth.

I would say that's pretty typical in a hunting rifle with a Wilson barrel. Put a 300 WSM together for a hunting bud on a (junker according to some) M77 tang safety action. Shoots good and vertical with him shooting at 300 yds is under an inch. I can't say that about his horizontal because he fat fingers / rolls the trigger so they end up being about 3". However shooting it myself, it will do 1" at 300yds. More than close enough for a hunting rifle on a junk action.

Agreed. Put barrel action in a different stock and loaded some 123 SST's for testing. I think rifle capable of doing three in half an inch and should be able to hold less than two at three hundred. This combination works well on South TX deer and hogs and I have seen untold number of shooters at the range that should't attempt anything past 100. Deer and even hog fever can make that 1.5" group at 100 open to 10.

Quick update - We will now be carrying X-Caliber SS barrels along with the Wilson SS barrels... We are expecting a very small revolving run with Bartlein and Rock Creek expected in late April/May... Stay tuned!

The first batch of SS X-Caliber blanks will be "small shank" (1.075" shank diameter) Light Varmint contour blanks for Savage and Remage pre-fits - we are now accepting pre-orders for the "prefit" blanks - 320 shipped for Savage and 340 shipped for Remage. Shooter choices chamber (we have over 120+ reamers) and length up to 26". That is less expensive than buying direct and a faster lead time... We also have Remage and Savage nuts in stock!!! The "small shank" SS blank calibers and twist are:

.224 8 twist (3 grove)
6mm 8 twist (3 grove)
6.5mm 8 twist (5r)
7mm 8 twist (5r)
.308 10 twist (5r)

We will also be adding SS X-Caliber standard (1.220" shank diameter) blanks to the line up as well! We will be offering the 27" contoured blanks for 240 shipped. To offer the barrels at a reasonable price we are limited to runs of 100 barrels in (1) contour. Add 20 to change contour...

The standard blanks we are running with X-Caliber will be our Light Varmint (.800" at 26") on 28" SS blanks with X-Caliber. We can offer any contour X-Caliber has but they will charge a bump of 20 per barrel. The standard shank blank calibers and twists will be:

.17 9 twist (3 grove)
.20 9 and 11 twist (both 3 grove)
.224 8 twist
6mm 8 twist (5r) and 10 twist (6 grove)
6.5mm 8 twist (5r)
7mm 8 twist (5r)
.308 10 twist (5r)
.338 9 twist (5r)

We are now accepting pre-orders on both the "small shank" and standard shank barrel blanks as well as pre-fit Remage and Savage barrels on our website raggedholebarrel.net.

Before you throw rocks about jumping companies or the Wilson barrels "obviously don't shoot" comments - we will still be offering the Wilson barrels as well... The Wilson barrels DO shoot and if they would send more - we would take them. We were told by Wilson that the 100 per month is at thier max for us. They also wouldn't budge on a few things (twists rates particularly) so we decided to talk to X-Caliber... They have thier rules too but they were willing to bend where Wilson wouldn't. Hence enter X-Caliber into the offerings...

As far as pricing:
Wilson match grade SS 27" blank #4 or LV - 180 shipped
Wilson SS pre-fit #4 only - Savage - 280 shipped; Remage 300
X-Caliber match grade LV contour SS 27" blank- 240 shipped
X-Caliber SS pre-fit LV only - Savage 340 shipped; Remage 360 shipped

Pre-orders save 10 bucks on the blanks and 20 on the pre-fits.

I encourage any questions you may have! Thanks for all the shooters that have helped us grow over the past year... Thank you for your orders and support!

Trying to put words in my mouth isn't working well for you. I did not say Wilson barrels are "crap". That is your choice of words. IMO, Wilson barrels would not be better no matter the cost. Using the term "undercut our competition" isn't a wise sales pitch, in any industry. Undercutting your competition in order to grow your business is an unattractive move. If the barrels were really that good, you wouldn't have to "undercut" your competition to sell your goods/service.
Give it up.
There are hundreds of highpower competitors wearing Wilson barrels on their AR uppers. Many are winning major matches.

I have no idea what burr is under your saddle, but you are becoming annoying with your attempts to be 'the wise guy'.
