To tighten are the screws pulling the half's together?

As far as I know, all ARCA accessories clamp the rail.

PLA. The same material I have been using for 6-7 years.

I have both 3" and 4" pic rail versions. Neither have suffered field failure .
I do not over tighten the screws as that could possibly put a slight bow in the bag rider.
I expect, as with the current version, fit will be snug enough to not need much tension on the screws.
I'll be all in on these. Tried the pic rail versions with a short rail and ARCA clamp. The side of the rest top interfered with the tension knob on the clamp.

I did the three screw version. I put it on my MDT chassis and snugged it down and it would NOT move.
