New Anschutz

My local gun shop had this 1416D HB Classic for me to take it home to be with his brother 1710D HB Going to start with a DIP rail .40" H, and Burris Medium Signature rings .810" and mount a Weaver T XR 46x48 Fine X 1/16 MOA Dot retical scope to it. Should be just perfect for those spring 100 yard targets. Can't wait until spring and anything above 40 deg's I was goin got purchase a new 457 MTR or American but the problems I have heard about turned me to this...

Thanks I was trying to build a 22LR to shoot 100 yards and out at a cost of under 2,000. I think this may work.
Anschutz 1416 custom 1100.00
Dip rail 50.00
Burris Signature Rings 50.00

total 1753.00

I have 247 left to gest some up grade JP springs for the trigger and striker springs.
I was going to purchase the CZ MTR at 750.00 but after the QC and just real bad reports of the new CZ 457 line of rifles I pulled the trigger on another Anschutz, they have problems as well but, most can be corrected by the user.. Looks like a gunsmith is needed on the new CZ's

If your rifle has the two stage trigger, might give it a chance before changing the springs. they are a excellent trigger. Practice........

You bought that from First Stop. I can tell by the photo layout.
Are you shooting out at Beretta Rd? It looks like they might have finally removed all those boulders.
I was so mad when I drove it there one day and found them.
I started driving all the way in the back and had less people around anyway.
I miss that place

I think they have the striker springs figured out without using JP springs.

Large mistake on the springs, use nothing but factory springs if you want optimum performance.

Yea I used some in my CZ 452's American/Ultra Lux after about 3500 rounds, couldn't see to much difference. I see they sell a trigger spring and striker as a kit. I might get the devil tomorrow, the feds still think they own it
