New 6mmDASHER is complete

TheBlueEyedBear

'The Nut Behind The Trigger'
We all know how long a new build can take, and how you become like a kid a Christmas when the delivery time gets close. Yes sir,,,, that was me. But, finally, it's here. This is another JOHN KING and LEO ANDERSON masterpiece. Gun components below.

Remember, if you see Grizzly tracks, chances are you're going to see The Bear.

BRUX SS 29" barrel w/interrupted fluting, chambered with .269 NK
MARCH 8-80x56 scope w/MTR1 illum. reticle

AND, last but nowhere close to LEAST,,,, another incredible paintjob by MARK at
MadShadowCustomPaint.com. This guy is brilliant and a master. May not be the cheapest out there but surely one of the best. THANKS MARK!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Beautiful rifle!!!! Hope mine is here in a couple months.

I like the action!! Mainly because I have a left handed version.

Brent

Thanks Brent. I shoot lefthanded but this is my favorite configuration. I'm a righty shooting from the wrong side. :)

Niiiice.

Barry, I have a modified version of that stock in the works right now with Ray Bowman of Precision Rifle & Tool. My gun will be chambered as a 6BRDX with a Brux barrel and Stiller Viper Drop-port. (This is my first Brux bbl, let's hope she shoots!)

This is my second BRUX barrel with the first being on my 22BRX. I am shooting the 69gr. JLK bullets and it is starting to get boring. That thing really shoots.

this is a gorgeous gun, I find the fluting on the barrel a bit busy for my taste though :)

Barry let me know how that drop port works. Does it have a cone bolt face with the drop port? Can you pos a pic. of the bolt face? Nice gun, i think i saw one before, even with a Brux......... jim

Awesome.

Any chance of some close up shots of the art work? and the bear in particular.

Also I would be grateful of any information on your 22BRX. I'm currently using a 22BR hunting rifle that I have had adapted for shooting 300 yard F class using the 64 grain Berger match. I have only ever cleaned the target once, and it was with this rifle.

While Krieger is my preferred vendor, my Brux and Bartlein barrels shoot equally well. I have found Krieger to be a little more consistent than the other two. [br]
Very nice, Barry. That is a good looking bear. Is this a 17 pound gun or intended for another purpose?

I had a friend weigh the gun and it will make weight. I thing the March scope made the difference. It is (if I remember correctly) 10oz. lighter than the Nightforce 12x42 BR scope that I normally use. That and a few stock alterations. :) Also, the PR&T stock was lighter from the get-go.

Because you weren't there when I met with the painter!! :)
That makes me mad now that I think of it. Unfortunately,,, I didn't think of it. As much as that paint job cost I surely could have had blue eyes added..
