There is a new review of AndiScan A3 chronograph reflecting its long term use. It is in Czech language but there are English subtitles provided.

I think "Andi " is done in today's very competitive market with the latest release. Kind of like Lab Radar and the market crash they had. Sit on your laurels and you will be left in a trail of dust! To say the least. Electronics advance at warp speed in today's very competitive world. Good for the consumer but brutal for all manufacturers.

I bought the A2 model. The shipping was over $100.00. I don't remember the total price, but it was well over a grand. The unit has too many convoluted steps to get anything done. The battery lasts less than an hour so I have to leave it connected to a power brick. I guess I suffered from GMF, (Gadget Man Fever) with a heavy dose of Early Adoptism thrown in.

At the time A2 was produced (2022), no other unit of that size was on the market - it was more than a year before GX appeared. AndiScan A3 is the next generation - battery life 6 hours (3 hours in armed state), metallic case, full bi-directional remote control and live view with iOS/Android App.....

It might be really nice, but the Garmin has a great track record and
now the Athlon unit is out.
Your unit is $495 and $99 to ship.
$594
No one in the US is going to pay that much more for something that
does the same thing as what's here cheaper and proven.
Sorry

not sure what you meen here. i paid 600 for my garmin like many people-- thats more than andiscan in your post. ive seen many garmins at the range-1 andiscan and no athlons. (340 i know) would like to see both andi and athlon. i mite switch if i like them better. things are so expensive in the shooting game these days a couple hundred more or less for a chrono doesnt even register.
