I would like to thank all of you guys for all the fantastic info presented on this site. My dad and I have been turning over the idea of building a full-out custom rig for some time now, and it has finally been put into motion. I would never know where to begin, or where to go once I got started.
The setup for the 13lb HV rig:
Stiller Diamondback RBLP drop port action with Stiller rings and bases.
Sightron 36x
Kostyshyn 1:17 4 groove tube
Richard's custom model 2000BR stock in desert camo laminate
jewell trigger
BIB 118's over either H4198 or N130
Sid Goodling as the smith.
Spoke with Sid, Curtis Stiller, Craig Kostyshyn, Mike Lucas, and Rich Franklin and cannot say enough nice things about them,all site sponsors, and all worthy of recommendations).
We had originally thought about a Borden Rimrock, and spoke with Jim Borden as well...yet another great guy to talk to.
It will probably take a year to get it all together, but I couldn't wait to post the project. Hope to see you guys out there next year after we work the loads up. We are totally PUMPED!!!!
