New .308 Lapua Brass (Blue Box) vs. Old Cardboard Box Brass

I'm wondering if there are any big differences between the older cardboard box and the new blue box stuff. I have 200 rounds of the old stuff and I just ordered a few boxes of the new stuff and I'm sure somebody has on this forum has compared the two. Sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find where it has.

Thanks in advance to anyone that wants to weigh in....no pun intended.

Don’t have sample from the old stuff to compare but I did get a couple of new boxes (Lot# P00648701) and did some measurements. Here they are from 50 pieces:

Heaspace – 1.6178” (range 0.0030”, SDEV 0.0070”)
Neck thickness (3 measurements) – 0.0146” (range 0.0017”, SDEV 0.0004”)
Weight – 171.77gr (range 1.48gr, SDEV 0.34gr)
Neck diameter (3 measurements) – 0.3349” (range 0.0009”, SDEV 0.0002”)

Only a couple of dented necks, box came with foam insert to keep brass from banging around.
