Personally, I would only use pre-fired brass if I know it came from my chambers, specifically 5.56 and from a semi. Also, for the purposes of not having to ream the crimp out of the fired primer pocket, go with the new. If 5.56 brass is your fancy, it should last quite a few reloads, depending how you treat it.If you buy new LC 5.56 brass and shoot it, it is now once fired brass, right? Is there a reason for buying new brass instead of once fired?
