new 22 br barrel, recomendations

Im ordering a new 22BR barrel, for a Savage bench gun build.,no competition) This will be a short range paper puncher 100 to 300 yds.
This is what Im thinking.
Pac-Nor 26' SS Super target grade, straight heavy target taper, 1 in 12' twist, for 65g bullets or less, 3 or 5 grove. No turn Lapua brass.

My 6BR uses a Pac-Nor 26' 1-8', supper target grade, straight target taper, 3 grove barrel, no turn Lapua brass. And shoots vary will with 80g FB Berger's, in the .1 and .2s most of the time, but has shot in the .0 moa. And I like it vary much.

Need opinions or recommendations.
Thanks Mike.

Call up LEster Bruno's at brunoshooter.com and order a Krieger. They have them in stock and you can get it almost immediately and their prices are as good as you will find anywhere.

Mike, You might want to take a look at McGowen. My smith just finish a switch barrel Savage 6BR & 308 using their barrels. He stated their work was better then he's seen on any pre-chambered barrels and their price is difficult to beat, quick delivery, both barrels are shooting in the mid one's / low two's consistently.

I have had great luck with Broughton 5C barrels. Call Tim North at Broughton and talk to him. I ordered a 30 cal 1 in 12 twist in a standard Remington contour I had that barrel in 3 weeks from day of order.
