I would look at the Sierra reloading manual under the 22-250 50gr bullet page. Sierra will list an accuracy load and a hunting load, that is where I would start. Nosler manual also shows the most accurate load data for their 50gr Ballistic Tip bullet, also a great starting load.My friend bought a used 22-250. I don’t the twist but he intention is pdogs. It has replacement bull bbl and I think the owner just shot targets.
I’m thinking 50 gr Vmax.
Anybody got good load data on what powder and how grains?

what he said, maybe a brush and a piece of tape, but anyway find out what you got. With a ball bearing cleaning rod/Dewey style.. You can determine twist with a tight fitting patch. Its important to know the twist so you don't waste components.
Nobody would ever tell you that. And no one would give you a 22-250. Just joking.if someone told me okay I'm giving you a 22-250 and you can only have one powder and one bullet what would be your choice....
IMR 4064 and a 50gr. Sierra BlitzKing, Lapua brass and a Fed GM Primer
