New 109gr Berger hybrid

I kinda get the impression your concept is shoot the custom 103 gr. That's a custom not Berger is it.
No Stan it is not. I have had tremendous success over the last 3 years shooting Tom Jacobs Vapor Trail 103. Have shot 105 EPS prior. I found a combination that works and never changed. I’m sure other bullet makers also make fine products.

I was wandering if there was a commercial bullet in a 103 gr I know I hadn't heard of any..
Time will tell if Berger provided us something that will be competitive with the custom bullet guys thanks for sharing.

I had heard of the commercial version of Tom's 103.
Where are they made I wouldn't think Tom would have time to do those, an his long list for the custom 103gr he makes.

V-Tacs
It appears there is some confusion about a new bullet that we are selling currently. We are very fortunate and have an extremely high demand for our hand made 103 6mm bullets. As many of you know we go to painstaking efforts to produce the most consistent and highest quality bullet that we can. Probably the most difficult to obtain ingredients in the process of making consistent bullets is time. Ask any custom bullet maker and you'll get the same answer.

Due to the long delivery time on our hand made 103 6mm we entered into negotiations to have a 6mm bullet produced for us via a larger and automated press. We call this line of bullets V-Tac. Please do not confuse our V-Tac bullet with our hand made bullets, produced at my shop here in Missouri. It was because of our long delivery times we considered help in making this V-Tac line. We deliberated long and hard before relinquishing control of a portion of the bullet making process to anyone else. We delivered to them a set of specifications and list of components that they met. We had custom, one of a kind, dies built for us. This line of bullets is proprietary to Vapor Trail Bullets exclusively.

Like all Custom Bullet makers, we feel our hand made bullets are still the pinnacle of bullets, this V-Tac line is available now and shooting amazingly well.
Thanks to all of our customers, hope this helps clear things up.

This is great info! Any chance you have a bead on where to purchase the commercial 103’s by Vapor Trail? Any idea of a price as well?

Contact Tom directly, I recently purchased a few thousand. I believe they are around .35 each plus shipping and insurance. They look great too. I cannot wait to try them.

Well I know Tom makes the hand pulled vapor trail, rather curious who makes the commercial bullet an what jackets are used in case the local shooters in my area would want some.

Stan, I’m positive that Tom will get you a pertinent information. I’m 100% positive that if they have the VT logo on the box they will shoot. Unlike the hand made version that one can pick straight from the box, these might have to be sorted slightly. But so do all commercially made bullets.

Well Crap
The cats outta the bag now.

I should have got my order in earlier.

A few guys at deep creek shot the v-tac this year. They shot great with them. At 35 cents each they are kind of a no brainer.
