NEW 1000yd Benchrest 10 shot World Record in H/G!

Hi all , Info spreadin around fast of a New World 10 shot group/score record ,shot a Williamsport this past weekend .. The awesome 2.815 ins group was coupled with a 100.4 score ,shot by Matt Kline with a 300 WSM &210 Bergers in Heavy Gun.. A big congrats to Matt from the Australian 1K benchrest shooters ..JR..Jeff Rogers

2.8 inches at 1000 yards is amazing, especially with a 32 power scope..and 10 shots...I wonder if this will ever be topped..the 3.14 stood for many moons and I'll bet this one will stand the test of time..my understanding is that this was from a 300WSM, guess the brass being made is better than it used to be..and Berger must be turning out some great bullet to say the least..wonder how many he had to sort through in order to get 10 to fly like that..and it was centered on the 100 ring none the less....check out the entire story and pictures on the Williamsport site..I never thought I'd see the day a sub 3 would be shot at 1000 yards..

According to the Pa1000Yard Site it's official. This is an outstanding achievement by an outstanding shooter. Definitely should be on the Daily Bulletin.

Guys at the Manatee Co. range here in south Florida were asking me about the powder/load and primers.

Anyone have any information?

Just got off the phone with Matt. Info is on the way. I can tell you that he uses H4350 powder. He will not share specific load data or primers. He feels, perhaps rightfully, that he may have some liability if he shared that info.

Matt , this is a incredible break forward in accurate shooting. I have freinds that cant do that at 100 yds.LOL
