I'm the one with a handgun on the left, -- and I'm not dead.Wow I remember those cameras ?What did the man with the hand gun die from ?
Where was this picture taken ? Do you still have that hand gun ?I'm the one with a handgun on the left, -- and I'm not dead.
My pard with the handgun pointing at the camera, is Charley, and he died a little shy of seventy from a whole lot of hard livin. We used to joke that he was put on earth to provide a bad example for other peoples kids.He was almost 20 years older than me, but NEVER a father figure. More like a criminal older brother who would get you both in trouble. He had a brilliant mind, with absolutely no focus. I could sit and tell stories about him for hours, or maybe days.
I've seen him make one handed shots on rabbits on the run, and not be able to hit one when it sat still.jd
Didn’t you guy sing Hotel California?Well, the camera was a Minolta SRT-102 35mm, SLR, delayed shutter release. Charley wasn't actually pointing his revolver at anybody. Charley has been dead for at least ten years. Sue, the dog, has been dead for at least thirty years.
Quinton, the guy with the Weyerhaeuser hat, retired about three years ago.
The guy on the left has become a handsome, witty, and well loved philosopher. jd

I've still got the one I was holding. It's a old sixties version Single Six. Fixed sight convertible. Charleys was a similar, only 4" instead of six. He bought it from my brother in law, and I don't know what happened to it. We used to pack those Rugers EVERYWHERE, and were pretty deadly with them.Where was this picture taken ? Do you still have that hand gun ?
