Neuvo eject problem

I bought this 4 or 5 years ago just now getting around to using it
Ejected fine for the first 200 rounds or so fired now drops cases in the action
Anyone have the fix?

No sr
I checked for that.
It worked great for 300 rounds or so
I will take the plunger out and check it for shaving it wasnt sticking when i checked it. But i guess it could be intermittently sticking a little

I had similar problems with a Savage action once. It was a 22-250AI. When the bolt came back the ejector plunger would push the brass the the side as I slid the bolt back. The case would then get slightly hung up in the bolt raceway. This slight amount of drag would cause the case to pull from the extractor and bolt face and consequently drop the brass. I never was able to fix this problem.

If I put a regular empty 22-250 brass in there, it would hold it the whole way.
I'm guessing the standard 22-250 brass had enough tapper to not hang up in the bolt raceway.

I double checked the extractor. It did have a little crud under the claw i cleaned it
I guess that might let it slip off the claw
I had this exact problem with a B a long while ago. It had worked flawlessly for several matches and then started dropping brass off the extractor leaving it in the action. A fellow shooter wired the bolt down and blew a little canned air on it. Went back and never missed a beat since. Do you store the rifle muzzle up with oil in the barrel? I had been leaving more than a little thin film in mine.

Don't some smiths cut the spring so it doesn't throw the brass out as far??

The only action that Bat makes in dedicated PPC is the drop port.
All of the rest are designed to extract and eject PPC or BR. This is a compromise.

The problem is if everything is not perfect, it will do what yours is doing in PPC.

I have two Neuvos in RL Right eject. One was perfect the other would flip the case in PPC.

I finally got disgusted and now use the same bolt in both of them.

My 3d Neuvo is a Drop Port but it is PPC ONLY.

My Neuvo LR is a DP and it has ejected 100% so far. It has a 6BRA barrel on it.
My B DP has not been 100% but I have tinkered with it to get it to about 98% and better as long as I don't baby the bolt. It seems BAT just keeps bringing out new flavors, as I just picked up a BAT B RBLPDP flat bottom and I see Bruno's has an exclusive called Maverick. Not to even mention the Vampire and Bumblebee.

Jackie, you can get nuevos and ds/b actions in ppc boltfaces. Dual ports included.
