Neighbor's Norma cases are splitting at the neck on his Norma brass 1st firing. So he sent down this brass, specs are good, but no clue as to the head stamp-- can any help me out with that ?

Isn't a theory, Brass does age and as it does it becomes brittle/harder- less elastic. All metals age and work harden to limited extent. case in point I had some brand new very old stock 25-35 cases. necks split with lite forming loads, annealed problem solved.

Any measurements of loaded vs fired case?
Factory loaded @.293.5
Fired ------------@. 301.5
Sized -----------@.292.5
This was from another box, priced @ $19.85...
AV--2840.5
ES--25.8
SD--11.2
The brass seemed to survive better than the others did..
Seems pretty fast to me for a 96 swede shooting 139 grain bullets..
I'm going to load 120's because he has the most of them, and doubt I'll run them that fast....
