Just a quick question for a gun project im messing with. I think I can shorten a remington 788 magazine in .222 to hold 20 garin or 20 badger cases to make a 590 converted gun a repeater.
I have a remington 788 magazine in .243 that measures about .580 thou wide
My question is, does anybody have a .222 magazine for a 788 they can measure real quick with a set of calipers and pm or post dimensions. Im shooting for a magazine thats .520 thou or less in width that'll hold a 30 carbine based case.
