Feed rail modification for extended magazine.

I’m going to install a Wyatt’s 3.22” extended magazine into a short action Remington 700 Ti. It’s a big cut at the rear and it’s going to put the base of the cartridge back a good bit. My question is about the relief cut at the rear of the magazine in the rails to allow the rim to come up to catch the bolt. I have several thoughts but zero experience. One is to have the original reliefs tig welded to fill in and cut new ones at the new rear of the magazine. If it would work this would leave the cleanest result. Not really sure if this would turn the action into a pretzel. I’m going to be trueing the action so I can take a slight warp out when I oversize ream the action but I can’t fix a pretzel. I’m really doubting this is a good idea. Second is to just cut some new reliefs at the new rear and be done. I think this will give a rough feed cycle as the rim will pop up a second time while cycling. Third is cutting from the original relief all the way to the new back of the magazine. Not sure if this will feed correctly or hold the cartridges in the magazine properly. Anyone with experience with this ? I really have no idea what the best way to proceed is.
Second question is should I be looking to modify the forward opening of the feed rails to allow the cartridge to come up sooner since the cartridge is starting farther back to allow for longer bullets seated farther forward. I don’t think this should be needed but again I have no experience. When I used a 3.0” extended magazine I just cut the reliefs back the same .125” and it didn’t drastically change the supported amount of case. I would be cutting about a third of an inch this time so much more case body involved.
