NEED to get a recoil lug milled

Hello,

I am looking for someone competent to mill about .200 off the bottom of my recoil lug to sit inside a AICS chassis.

PLEASE dont tell me to mill the chassis, i am looking to modify the cheapest part. Always cost less.

I've milled a lot of them. My AICS chassis is going to be for sale for that reason.

I usually mill them in the assembled condition. Are you planning to take the lug off and send it out?

sweet, I just need to get it done. i recently acquired a 2.0 but the recoil lug on that chassis is .187. And i am not going to do another project, so i just wanna to get my AICS 1.5 fit and perfect and i am selling everything off to fund a AI AT. My future plan is just to buy barrels.

As an alternative to disassembly/shipping, it's a simple machining job that any local machine shop/job shop could do, even with the rifle fully assembled; setup is simple in V-blocks without needing to pull the barrel.

I can pull my rifle apart in 10 min makes no sense to try and find someone around here, plus I cant get my bolt done as well make it a no brainer.

You could literally do that on a bench grinder though, Eric.

If you're halfway decent with one, go slow, and finish with file and stone: it will be plenty attractive, and 100% as functional as it would be mill-done.
