Need Suppressor for .264 (Black Friday Sale?)

You can really split hairs between suppressors. There are SOOO many on the market. I got my first suppressor in 2012 - they were much less prevalent then. It is actually a Form 1 suppressor, built it myself! Still kicking today!

I am partial to direct thread, steel suppressors. 3-D printed, Titanium, flow through, etc are not important for many peoples uses.

I have a Griffin Sportsman Ultra Light HD that is quite lightweight and very versatile suppressor. Can use it direct thread 5/8-24 on a 308, then use an adapter to 1/2x28 and it works well on the AR. It is stainless steel but is quite short and only weighs 10 oz. Probably not the quietest, or lightest, or least back pressure, but it can work on every single rifle I have if necessary from 223 to 30 cal magnum.

Also one thing to keep in mind is there are million different brake and suppressor mounts out there now. If you are an accuracy oriented shooter, I would HIGHLY recommend sticking with a direct thread suppressor. I have never had weird POI shifts, problems with fouling on the brake, erc with these. Not to mention you can spend a FORTUNE on getting a bunch of muzzle devices for various weapons.

You can spend a fortune on mounts as they're running over a hundred bucks each now regardless of which one you get, but....if you have that many rifles you want to suppress it's still cheaper than putting a can on each one.

And if you are running a can with a HUB mount capability then it super easy to swap out mounts so I would highly recommend getting a can with HUB. You can pull a 5/8-24 DT off and put a 1/2-28 on it. Using adapters can cause issues with alignment so definitely check it.

Also if you plan to use it on an AR or any gas gun get a low back pressure can. You can still use it on your bolt guns. I do with mine but when swapping to the ARs you don’t have to adjust your gas at all.

I got my first can in 2005 and second in 2011 and then bought 5 this year lol The cans that are out there now are so good compared to years ago. Also wait time is a lot less. Well it may be a little longer after the 1st. ;)
