OK now that my Savage Model 12 short action is almost done it's time to think stocks The Savage action has a 440 hole spacing top eject bolt release 27" Brux Remington varmint contour barrel I want a decent aluminum bedded stock that I can use main purpose for target shooting not competition Any suggestions and where to buy at the best price I would like to stay under $400 Thanks Lou

If you would be open to some sanding and minor fitting Richards Microfit may be for you. Less than $300. My two cents,, Tommy Mc..

Bell and Carlson, HS Precision or Choate may be your only options in that price range to give you the aluminum bedding system you need.

Not up on the spacing but the Savage Accu stock has aluminum spine and bedding. Would that work?
