If you can shoot 1 MOA or less, hitting a 30" target at 500 yards is a piece of cake.Yes I believe that is the deal. I have to bring in a target to where I zeroed at 100 yards and I have that both are under an inch one is .81 and the other is .80 one is a 3 round group and one is a 5 round group. I did not remember what he wanted so I did both.
As mentioned, if you're off by 2 MOA on your scope elevation, that's only 10" at 500 yards.
If you know the elevation needed for 300 yards, it's just 6 MOA more to 500 yards for the Berger 140 Hybrid with a muzzle velocity of 2650.
