Hey Fellers, kids bought me this thing for my birthday and I can't figure out how to make it click. I can't hear the beeper, figure someone on here is hard of hearing besides me and has delt with this.... thanks John IMG_20241010_161934074_HDR.jpg

Me either. Never heard mine beep. just a click.
Hey Feller, I never heard mine either but my son can. I've been trying to use it and couldn't make it click so he sets it and says it beeps...... and he couldn't make it click either, John

Pull bottom out, twist to desired setting it'll beep when you get to that torque. Right?
Mine is not a digital so I may be talking about something I don't know !

I just used mine ...

Just googled it and it said it didn't click only beep

You're right, that's what it says. Just what a deaf feller needs.....a beeper:D. Anybody got one that clicks want to trade for a brand "new and improved" one that beeps......John

I have same problem with the beep on the digital model being tough to hear. I use it for the critical stuff ( scope rings, triggers, etc ) I sneak up on by watching the meter. The less delicate (action bolts,) I use the click type on..

Thats all us OLD shooters need something else that flippen beeps, I sort of hear it but unless it keeps beeping I cant track it down, answer your cell phone no ones there oh its the smoke alarm.... my kids laugh I loose my cell phone every now and then, my kids say we'll call it so you can find it HAHA, at least it is just high frequency I have an issue with, I think

Add an electrical locked gun safe to the list. I know when I’m getting a sinus congestion deal when I can’t hear that keypad beep at all.

I'm probably using mine incorrectly as I get inconsistent torque. Can't figure if the beeping should be short and rapid or long and steady. Watching the readout doesn't seem to help much. Recently bought Wheeler Fat-Stix and am more confident I get proper torque. More consistent anyway.....
