Need scope ring help please

I have ordered a nightforce 12x42x56 30mm tube and am trying to find the correct rings to use with it. I am mounting it on a Hall rimfire action with 11mm dovetail cut into it. I did not want to drill and tap it for a weaver rail. Has anyone else delt with this problem and steer me to the correct solution?

The dovetail is there to enable ring installation -- designed to fit that dovetail. Buy rings accordingly. Call Hall and ask them what they recommend. It's that easy.

You could get a dovetail to Weaver/Picatinny adapter and use Weaver rings. That may be an advantage if you want to swap the scope to other rifles or if you remove your scope when transporting the rifle.

It would be too easy to buy rings from Hall only he is out of them and will be 2 or 3 months before he makes any more. Thought there might be someone else that made them.

I will try the 11 mm to weaver adaptor for now.
