Need Savage/Stevens advice for 6mmBR

I had not run into the new spacing Stevens. The last one I bought was a couple of years ago, so had the old spacing. I guess they had to move it out to clear the center feed setup.
The only thing I have bought lately is PV actions and stocks, so that all fits together. I did get a really nice benchrest type stock from SSS, made to fit the new 3 screw PV. It is blue and pretty special. I need to finish bedding it and go shoot it.

Is there any reason to consider the firing pin diameter on the standard Savage action when chambering for 6 BR? Many custom actions have smaller diameter pins when using small rifle primers. What size pin does the new Savage F-class 6BR have?

The firing pin question is a good one. I am having some problems on my Savage PV actions with primers cratering. The loads are not supposed to be too hot, no other problems like hard bolt lift or ejector marks, just cratered primers. I have been using CCI BR primers, just because I can get them and have a bunch. I am shooting several guns in small and large primers, cratering most of them. I am wondering if it is me, my loads, the primers, or the size of the the hole in the bolt or size of the pin. It will be interesting to me to see where this thread goes.
