Need opinions on reloading 9mm

Nice to have a couple thousand rounds of 9mm. It's about half the cost to roll your own. I use them in my HiPoint 995 Carbine too. Accurate enough for social work at 100 yards. About 4" with cheap ammo and a red-dot scope. Maybe I should see it there is an InAccurate Shooter forum. It was a gift and I've had it about 14 years. Will shoot 1,715 fps with CorBon Powerball ammo and group at about 2". With this ATI stock it's possible to float the barrel which may help. As is, there is a "U"clamp anchoring it to the inside of the fore end.

I don't mind reloading pistol or shotshell altho all I load in shotshell is buckshot... It is just another skill you know how to do.. And like I said trump won't be in office forever and ammo will likely disappear or get mighty expensive again... Better get used to it while its cheap to learn.. One pound of win231 Will load about 1200+ rounds of 9mm so it doesn't take a whole box full of supplies like rifle.. Get a few pounds and rotate them in and out so you will have some when times get rough... I promise you it's not going to get better or cheaper in the future... It is kinda cheap right now for 9mm so don't worry about shooting some factory if you don't feel like reloading at least you know the brass is good once fired..

Load at your pace, single stage press, turret press, or dillon 650...

Single stage press, carbide rcbs dies are good. The few lee dies I had were actually really good too and way cheaper.

Biggest thing is setting them up right. Resizing die, flare die for putting just a lityle flare on the case mouth, then your seater die which pushed the bullet in some and closes the flare just tight enough to hold the bullet good...

Note the seating dies have different..?? Stems? In the top thst screw in... one for round nose another for square nose bullets, use what you need..

Its real easy... aint gotta be precise, uniform powder throw is all you need, prep em all,

Small pistol primers, whatever brand it dont make a shit..

Im not a fan of lead bullets... had feeding issues...

Unique, bullseye
I've been using my turret press since the early 80's
My system is to resize pop primer and expand opening.
Then I'll get out my old Lee hand primer and primer them all till all are primed.
Been working for me for 40 years.

Lee U die from EGW
Dillon everything else
Dillon 550
Don't double charge...

I load 9mm for target shooting. I use RCBS carbide dies, titegroup powder, federal gold match small pistol primers, and Hornady 9mm 115gr projectiles.

THE BEST? Easy. Mighty Armory 9mm die set. Mostly just the sizer, maybe the expander, and any seater. Or get the matching set. Then something simple and economical like 8 lbs of W231, a few thou Precision Delta 124 HP's, and whatever SPP you can get.

It seems like most of the reloading talk is rifle related but I have some question about loading 9mm.

I have reloaded for rifles for a long time. I have a few thousand pieces of Starline +P 9mm brass. I am looking for some suggestions for 147 grain subsonic loads.

My questions are-

What dies are considered to be the best?

What powder would you use?

What primers?

Thanks in advance for the help.
I use Dillion carbide dies for 9mm no issues and EZ.

Power I use HS-6, Ramshot Silhouette and Win 244 (works well in 250gr Colt45 too)

I like WSF for my 9mm loads, a little slower then most others, meters fine, under a 124gr lipstick, it rings steel very reliable.

125gr cast bullets. Any small pistol primer. 3.5 grains Bullseye. Lil Dandy powder measure. Rcbs carbide set. Lee crimp. Send it.
