Need Load recipe for 6.5x47, Pierce action, benchmade 28" barrel, 1-8 twist

I'm heading out next week for Idaho and New Mexico, where I participate in the Sporting Rifle Match held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton.
I just had my rifle barrel switched over from 22BR to a Benchmade 1 in 8 twist barrel 28" in length.
I have to load up 300 rounds in the next 2 days and have only the Berger loading manual to go by.
However, their load data uses a 24" barrel.
Question #1: what percent reduction in powder weight should be used to go from their 24" data to 28"?
Question(s) #2: I have Berger 140 g target boat tails, and Berger 130 g veld targets, Sierra 142 g hpbt match kings and hornady 120 g A-Max's.
The weather here in Michigan has been unsuitable for getting to the range all April and I will have to just load a lot of cartridges and take them with me without any load development, so I'm looking for reasonable recipes for adequate accuracy using the powders I have - RL15, RL17, H4350, Imr4350 and Varget.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
Dave

I have a 30" Bartlein 1-8 twist in 6.5x47, this is barrel #3. I have tried RL15, RL17, Varget and H4350. I have always come back to the 4350, 40.0grs set 0.010 in the lands. Berger 130VLD. Tomorrow I am tring to run their seating depth exercise, then I will play with my tuner. Right now it shoots in the low 3s, I know it can do better. It never ends

I have a Benchmark barrel at 26". With the 140s, around 40g of H4350 should get you shooting really tightly. My load with anything 140g is 40.2g. I also have had good luck with Varget at around 37-37.7g with the 140s. My rifle shot best at 37.5g of Varget with anything 140g.

With the 130s, a lot of people seem to find 40.5g of H4350 as the accuracy load. I have not tried it myself because I had no desire to shoot 130s with how well the 140s perform for me.

I plan to try some 120g Cauterucio's, I have some ladders loaded up and will let you know when I get a chance to shoot them.

I've got over 10 firings on cases running 130's with 43 grains of H4350 and a Fed 205m. Velocity runs 3017 with an extremely small ES in my 27.75" Brux.

i love my 6.5x47! it loves all bergers. i load 130s and 140s with same grns. load is 40gr h4350 for all. it shoots the 140 hybreds the best at long range. 130 do 2937==140s do 2830fps. light into lands on 28in keiger bbl. it will shoot all bergers into the ones at 100 yds all day if i do my part! savage action trued and trigger set at 8oz. good luck on your shoot.

I use 38.4 grs of RL15 with 130 VLDs. Pretty consistent 1/3 moa or less vertical out to 1k. Using a 29" Shilen four groove ratcheted and a PTG reamer throated for 140/142s and a .010" jam. I've only had to push it out about .005" after over 600 rounds, some of which were hot enough to loosen primer pockets. I developed this load at about 5000 ft in Byers, CO. I love this round so much I made a hunting rifle with a #3 contour and just swapped out the 130s for 129 SSTs. Never had an animal take a step. They don't like to be jammed though.

I have three match rifles with barrels chambered in 6.5x47L. One of those ( all are switch barrel rifles) is a Pierce action and a 30" Kreiger 1 in 8 Twist shot the 140 grn Hybrid so well it is now my 1,000 yd go to rifle for F-Class. All three of my rifles shot the same load great and either of two bullets. The 140 Hybrid, 130 grn VLD and the same powder charge in all of them. 41 Grns of H4350.
