Need infro in the .300 AMU

I was wondering if there is anyone who is familiar with the .300 AMU. If so, how do you make it? What are the ballistics like? Is it accurate? What are the case dimensions?

The 300 AMU,Army Marksmanship Unit) was a long range cartridge loaded by Rem with special 197 grain HPBT bullets. It is nothing more than a 300 WBY IMP. Win also loaded a similar round with the same bullet that is really a 300 ACK.

On the far right.

Thank You Ray. I have seen this picture before. I guess its what sparked my interest in the cartridge. It seems to be shorter than the Ackley mag or the weatherby.

It is made from full length REM-UMC 300 H&H brass. The headstamp bunter was ground off so that the new headstamp read REM-UMC 300.
