Anyone use the S&B sport optic scope 12.5-50x 56 on any rifle. Would like some info on it preferbably real life usage.
Thanks,
Thud

For folks who shoot F-TR I can tell you one spec that keeps them off of the line, they weigh about 40oz with out rings.

Other than that I've never used one, the S&B reputation for high quality optics says it's a great scope.

Very short eye relief, great glass, turrets that turn in the wrong direction. I sold mine and purchased a March.

Just target shoot. Also want to try it.
I would imagine it would be a great scope for that or hunting. Weight there wouldn't matter. A guy I used to shoot with put them on all his hunting guns. He said they were the best scopes there was. He said clear glass and very repeatable. Good in low light. Matt

Make sure you go for the sport fine reticle, the standard sport reticle will pretty much cover your aiming point, at 1000 yards it will cover the F class X ring on 40 power.
I have no experience of the P4 fine.

I have one with 1/8 minute turrets that turn like american turrets (CCW) and I am used to European turrets or service rifle knobs.

Other than the weight it is an excellent scope. Tracks excellent and the clarity is incredible. I do not regret the purchase at all.

Don't own one myself but shot a friends who has 2 many times. They are the clearest scopes ever used. Some day I have to get one for myself just can't afford one yet or if I can keep the wife from finding out it could happen sooner.
