Need info about hunting Pdog's & Coyote's North of Briscoe, Texas

A group of guys and I have booked a hunt on a 17,000 acre ranch thats northwest of Briscoe, Tx. The ranch owner keeps saying there are tons of Pdogs and yotes on the ranch. I called the Game Warden in that area and spoke with him, He said there were definitely a huntable population of the both. But not all that many.

What I'm looking for.... Has anyone hunted in that area before? and if so how was the Pdog population. How many rounds should I take for a 4 day hunt? I'm thinking 300+ rounds of .22mag, 500 rounds of .223, 350 rounds of 22-250, 200 rounds of .308.

Any info would be great!

It looks like ur only going for a kill,, not for a hunt.
Thats a big difference.

If I wanted to just hunt and kill one animal I would book a Whitetail, Antelope, Elk ect... hunt.

I have booked a Pdog hunt, so I want to be assured a LOT of shooting. Doesn't matter to me how many I end up killing, I just want to have plenty of opportunities in killing.

I have never been on a Pdog hunt that was actuality a "HUNT" every other time I've been we just drive up to a Pdog town, set up, and start shooting/KILLING!

I wish they would open up a season on Stupid People, you know the ones who's lacking normal intelligence.

Now back to the topic, I still would like some USEFUL INFORMATION about KILLING Pdogs around Briscoe, Tx

I was at the Callahan Rch two years ago. There were loads of coyotes and bobcats. We were in that week after the deer season and before "the hog hunt". I used my 10ga Browning auto for most of the dogs and cats. This is pretty tight country. If you cuold get on a ranch that actually grows things, besides stickery things you might have more use for a rifle. I hope this helps. Disreguard the eu taunts. They probably are happy shooting paper only. Carl L.
