Need help with Sinclair Neck Expander

I have a Sinclair neck turning tool that came with 3 mandrels. The mandrels are double-ended with a different calibers on each end - .224/.243; .257/.277; 7mm/.308. There is a flat that acts across each mandrel for alignment (see pic). I can't seem to locate a die body that holds these dual mandrels. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Those are meant for the neck turning tools only, not for the expander die. The single ended expander mandrels will have a slightly larger OD to work properly with the neck mandrel.

Top die is the Gen 1 Sinclair, to the right is the Gen 2. Both take the single sided mandrels. I never tried it but I suppose the Gen 1 might take a double sided mandrel but the brass wouldn’t be expanded quite enough for turning if you tried to use the same mandrel for expanding and turning. I listed the Sinclair tools below but likely anyone’s expander die and mandrel should work.

The instructions from Sinclair reference that the mandrels also work with their expander die(?) The Gen 1 die might hold the dual-mandrel?

Those instructions are bunk. It may work but I’ll say again if you try to use the same mandrel for expanding then turning you might be disappointed. Sinclair has also made (or still does?) single sided turning mandrels. I have many of both single sided and double sided. I also have many single sided expanders, mostly in carbide same for turning mandrels.

That's where the Gen 2 came in. No set screw. Unscrew cap, drop mandrel in, put cap back on and you're done. No looking for or messing with an Allen key :)

I would say you lucked out having an interchangable caliber set of neck-turning mandrels and call it a victory.
Perhaps you'll get luckier and come across a Gen I expander die for sale somewhere (I've never seen one) otherwise, you'll have to bite the perverbial bullet and settle on a set of expanders and die.
